I can't believe how quickly the bridge went down. My father was on Remagen Bridge in WW2 went it collapsed due to Nazi bombing. He lost 28 men in his battalion and around 70 were injured.

I killed this stag mule deer in Eastern Oregon in 1994. Fully dressed at the locker plant weight was 188# making the live weight over 300#. The backfat was almost 3" thick...we had a heck of a time loading the buck into a pickup.

I pulled my trail cams where I hunt yesterday. One camera that had only been up for 13 days had 150 photos with one small buck and a few does but lots of other wildlife.

I shot a Browning 30.06 BAR for a long time but wanted a rifle that shot flatter. 20 years ago I got a Weatherby. 300 mag ultralight. I love it and works well when you have to reach out to 400-500 yard shots.

We all hope things will change and get better in California but I don't see that happening. If you spend some time reading up on the fish and game commissioner's it won't give you many warm and fuzzy feelings. I would like to see the commission expanded to 7 members and 4 would be nominated...
