Hunt Blacktails every year cause they are closest and easiest tag I can get. Much tougher than mule deer but we hunt them the same way(glass a lot). Never hunted Cous but I could see the attraction they live in pretty cool looking country!

I'm sure there will still be thousands that try for tags they cant draw, but I've had people tell me more than ounce there buddy drew a random tag in the main draw so how do you convince people they have no chance here. Worse system I know of, draw would be better than this funny used to buy two of these tags that didn’t even sell out and now we are down to this. Might be a blessing to not get a tag way things looked last time I hunted there.

Good hunt for sure, not sure if you have been there or not but its pretty flat ground, good for road hunting not as good for glassing. Usually lots of animals just have to be patient and have realistic expectations.
