No alternate on deer. I know for a fact at least one of the three tags issued was filled but unreported. I also am 100% positive two of the tags were returned. So if 2 out 3 tags were filled but unreported, that's not bad.

Two of the 2022 A9 tags were returned prior to season opener, one tag was reported unsuccessful, two tags were unreported.

I'll be there 3rd season and just trying to find out what conditions are like. I have heard from one person there is already snow in the mountains, but a couple I ran in today said no snow till you hit the Denver area. Extended forecast looks like sunny and warm conditions. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I have looked at the atlas a couple times. I will check it again. Have you hunted the grand mesa nf before? How is it for glassing? Seems to be quite a bit of blm between the units also. Im kinda partial to the backcountry but I've had good success on blm land with blacktail.
