Does 13 still contain deer? It is the only unit in NM that I haven't seen a deer in lately.

I drew the late antlerless muzzleloader for this unit so I will be in there all through the year up until my hunt in December. I have fished in Quemado all my life and have always seen elk every trip on the south side of the lake. Good luck with your hunt.

I purchased a combo license and selected no for the refund thinking it would refund my fishing license also. I did get the conflicting message but I'm gonna just have to wait and see. Any day now I guess.

Awesome bull! I did send you a pm earlier last week in hopes you could give me, which is a first time hunter, some pointers in that unit. I did draw most likely the toughest hunt(2nd rifle) but am hopeful of at least harvesting a legal MB. Anything you can help with I will be forever grateful sir.
