Adds a limbsaver recoil pad to the .300. Does the rifle have a synthetic stock? If so, remove the recoil pad and 1.5 lbs or so of putty inside the stock. You can remove it if needed. This will add weight to the gun and reduce recoil.

I know he has a good reputation and spends a lot of time scouting but what he charges to hunt public land is insane. If your going on a hunt with him for the first time lie and tell them your a neurosurgeon so they can expect a big tip and put you on a great deer.

wow this post has turned into a soap opera but the info given is spot on. i have more experience hunting the other end of the valley but deer quality is low in 51. spoke to biologist In idaho falls who have conducted fly over surveys and 180 bucks are there but real real hard to come by. good luck
