I hunted Elk with them last year. Awesome experience and would do it again in a heart beat. Thomas is a great guy and the whole experience was just as advertised, which is nice when your looking at potential OIL tag. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

I drew 121 Muzzy Elk with 13 and 231 Muzzy Deer with 8. So you never know just put in you may get lucky.

The weather did not cooperate this year. We got a little storm mid week but it just rained. First time I can ever remember it raining mid November @7000’+ while hunting in the Rockies. With that said we did have some Rut activity.

I was Elk hunting in Eastern Nevada last week and we saw a nice Buck rutting hard, pretty surprising that early.

What town are you talking about ? I hunt a little north of grand junction The rancher said winter didn’t seem really bad down there I guess I’ll find out here soon enough.

I’m sold on the southern route to Colorado now. Two more weeks I’ll be taking it again, from my house it adds about 30 minutes Well worth it. I just got back from my Nevada Elk hunt and I80 west bound had snow on the road at Donner causing some issues.
