Went out late today and checked cards, should of been out this am, all cams had activity during AM hours, did double up on yotes this afternoon but all hogs were either brushed up or on the next door property... This is one of the fence crossing that has high traffic and apparently some hanky...

Using the new Moultrie Cell cams and loving the results.;):) Checking the cams throughout the days and nights and getting new pics as they happen....priceless👍💪💪 P.S. I love the browning cams, been using them for years but you still have to retrieve the cards... Getting pics daily and don't have...

Went out after hogs again and scored a bonus yote right before tagging a fat sow for the sausage freezer. This sow was fat and dry( no pigglets) Shredded ears and some decent teeth... The coyotes on this ranch get shot at damn near daily and are tough to get standing and not running for thier...

Back in the hills chasing after these critters after a horrible deer year for me..This pork will help with flavor for my Cali tag soup😄😄

With such a great water year the dry land farming on a ranch i hunt is booming, and so is the hog problem. Made a quick trip out to a spot that is getting hit pretty hard and smoked a decent boar to do my part..More to follow untill its cut and harvested, but damn they are making a mess of it..

Behind the curve this year with all the weather events..birds are quiet and slow to break up..Let alot of jakes walk so far and havent had a good bird leave his hens yet..Shot this youngster with stick and string this am, he did think he was the **** of the walk and only had a barely 7 inch...

Went out to chase some birds this am, very slow to non existence once the wind picked up, headed back to the truck and changed weapons and headed to some hot spots for hogs..Didn't take long bumped a group of 15 or more out of a drainage that's holding water, picked up the lead sow in the scope...

Great opener spring gobbler , had this bird down by 0730 this am, Nice 8 inch beard, small spurs but he's a load.gonna get some great meat off of him, hes one of 4 toms that came to the calls and decoys right off the roost , doesnt always happen that way????

Went out to scout one of my turkey spots for this upcoming weekend and bumped into this solo sow in the same area...Bonus pork before I'm obsessed with the spring gobble lol

Ran across this old warrior hog this am under a beautiful clear sky.. Doesn't get much better than that ?????? This one will fill the freezer with sausage fo sure??

Just another day chasing porkers, started with a coyote on a buddies farm who has been harassing the animals, ended with nice hog for the freezer on another place..Must be living right??

Went out this am and bumped into this lone sow..Quick and easy hunt for a Holiday ham for friends and family.. Merry Xmas to all my fellow MM members.. ????

Back on the hogs, shot this one out of a herd of 15 today in the drizzle, she is on the bigger side of sows on this place...loaded with fat and will eat good ?

Went on our annual Northern Idaho meat hunt and lucked out on day 1 with this fella, stopping long enough for a round to put him the ranger, Good looking 8 pointer(eastern count) for the area and glad I was ready and made a great shot..2 more to go so back to the woods we go??

Went out this am to fill a tag and did that and more, I'm very fortunate to have a great place to snoop around with a loaded gun and spend time.. Nice 2x2 and good size sow and then some knife work before watching some football on a Sunday..Good day!!

Scored on yet another great bird to end 2021 season!!! This guy and his buddy flew off the roost this am and put on an amazing display for me before I finally ended thier dance in front of my decoy??? Great day to be in the Turkey woods and kinda sad it's over but counting down already for next...

Nothing better than gun in hand, decoys and calls and a beautiful day to be in the woods chasing thunderchickens ??, after a pretty quiet morning sit, I ventured out after some distant gobbles..I didn't go too far before I was smack dab in the middle of 4 hens and 3 gobblers working thier way up...

Went out this am and got into some great Turkey action with multiple toms coming to the calls and decoys, all were young birds so I let them walk, for now...only the second day of the season!!! Once it all calmed down and got slow I ventured over some hills to a known pig hangout...Glad I called...

A prefect Spring day capped off with a flop, Worked this bird for awhile before he finally fell for what I was selling,10 inch beard, and inch and half hooks,14 yard bow kill with Mathews Vertex and easton arrows tipped with muzzys..

Put the 6.5 to work this am on another big nasty Boar, this one was a fighter with cuts and wounds all over his head, ears and shoulder shield..

Got into some good hogs this am and smashed this muddy mess of a boar just as the sun came up, hes a cool looking hog if it weren't for his mud camo?? and has some good teeth , this one ended up in two pieces to get him in the back of the side by side??, now headed to the grinder????

#1 for 2021, hopefully many more to follow in the coming months before summer..??

Had a tag in the pocket and ran across two sows this afternoon, a big blonde one had piglets so this one got a 120 grn kiss from the 6.5??

Put a nice tri colored boar down this am with the 6.5 creed..haha hard to tell with all the mud on him from the only water around for miles..

With all the crap in 2020, Covid, Masks ,Lockdowns, Calif fires and Politics, thank god deer season has been worthy of putting a smile on the faces of those fortunate to have success.. I have been one of them so far and hope that the trend continues ???? Nevada October 1st: 3x4 Calif B zone...

Brought home one of my biggest Turkeys today to join the family on the wall..Pretty happy how he turned out.. Spring Time Trophy??

Finished up my 2020 fans and hung them on the wall of fame in the shop, now its wait until next spring to do it all over again????? So how many peeps also do this???I enjoy doing it and showing off my birds to friends and fam..???

Turkeys are henned up and silent so instead of beating my head against the wall trying to sweet talk them, some sweet talking with the fox pro convinced this critter to come and investigate...bad choice Wiley????

Was out scouting some turkeys for tomorrow when I stumbled upon yet another yote on the ranch, was able to put it to sleep in short order.. The 6.5 eats again????

Had the pleasure to help out a buddy and his daughter like we did last year, called in a trio of toms and she put the smack down on a great bird for 2020 Youth Turkey season.. Love calling and helping kids get after thunderchickens. Cool memories are made!!!

Called in a beautiful Grey Fox a couple years ago and finally had it mounted, these little guys are so awesome on the wall. Hit the woods this am before the upcoming storm and called a big Tom Bobcat into 20 yrds and smoked him. Biggest cat for me during any call session.. Back to the Taxi I go...

Ate my deer tags this year but no worries, I'll just start filling my pig tags now deer seasons overwith.
