Quality is down. G&F is letting out more tags than before and the drought we had this year didn't help anything. Still a few studs out there but sure feels like the age class is dropping.

Cutting down cam lock semi tire chains for me has always been the most durable option. Make sure you install them before you go out and they fit. Really sucks when you get out there and they don't fit.. Not that I would know lol.

Yeah it was a little brisk. Didn't do any good this trip except get excercised lol. Had to come back to work for a couple weeks . Mules did great saw some new country and had a little extreme riding Monday and Saturday lol

We just got back out of the high country. We fought rain and low cloud cover(7000') for 7 days...I can hunt in the rain if I can see but not being able to see sucks. Enjoyed some nice snow showers and breeze. Found a few groups of rams but none in that 7-12 year old range that I was looking...

I've hunted that area several times. Bull elk park is good as well as long draw..I think that's what it's called. Lots of good elk but pretty call shy.

I'm going to upgrade my camera this year for my sheep hunt. I need a really good compact waterproof camera that I can utilize on my swavoski spotting scope as well? What are your guys's recommendations? Thanks Bryan

Back at you songdog :) I don't know anything about area 2 honestly but I will do some looking. I can't wait to get up there get to riding and scouting. I haven't ever even been sheep hunting before :) So gotta love a new challenge.

Yeah it seems like the bugs are terrible everywhere this year :( Between the flies and mosquitoes the kids are staying busy spraying and brushing the mules constantly it seems :)
