I have hiked over to 50 of some like that??? Some were, some were not. But I like to hike. Some times I find one on the way to see what it is. One time I hiked 2 miles to see a cool dead sage brush. Get going!!

Fair?? lots of people. I went 2 days early, hunted until the last day and shot the biggest buck I found. Average 3x4. But it was very fun.

Me and a friend of mine hunted the 3rd season several years ago, I took the biggest buck I found in 7 days of hunting, 18"4x4. But my buddy mist a 25" buck that looked to be close to 170" so there is a chance???

That is great. I was hoping for that tag for a long time and when I got it is was pretty sweet, not just the bull but I had a bunch of my favorite people there to share it with me!! oh and help pack the meat!! Love see your bull?

He was 42" wide and a 8x9. It was Wyoming 2010, one of my favorite hunts!!

Where are you from?? Are you close to the unit or from another state? If you are close and spend some time this summer looking around you will see elk. If you cant scout it may be a little hard on the late hunt, it is a big unit.

We hunted it this year on the November hunt. We spoke to the warden while we were there and he told us the Deer and Antelope had a pretty hard time over the 2018-2019 winter and it was a pretty high mortality rate?? We saw a decent amount of Deer but not what you would hope to see on a late...

Pretty good. I followed in Dad's foot steps and shot early. I moved locations from where I scouted and went on the advice of someone that knew the area better that I did . It worked out great. My sons tag was in 2016.

Our family has put in for years with the expected "Unsuccessful" BUT it can happen. My sons was 14 and his first time ever putting in he got the antelope tag. I think the odds were 1 in 3000ish. It is my turn!!

I have hunted that area 2 times for Antelope. One buck I took just south of Merritt mountain and one just north and east of Merritt mountain on the Idaho border. Not a lot of antelope in that area but that's where I took mine. Pretty fun, I hardly saw anyone on my hunts there.
