Met Jason at the hunt Expo years ago, you could tell he truly loved what he did and truly loved his product. Stand up guy that was very humble did not seem full of his self one bit. I admired that about him. His vision change the outdoor world

Hunted it a few years ago. Horrible access, Absolutely horrible deer numbers in 34, there's way more people than deer in that unit. Don?t go with high expectations, go to enjoy the outdoors and make some memories. Cause honestly the deer just are not there.

Yup let's keep on the SSS.... last thing we need is for the Dwr to admit there are wolves in Utah.... only big coyotes here..

Spending time on the mountain is better then not. Don?t have really high hopes for big big deer on the west, there will be deer though. The muzzy is much less crowded then the rifle.

You should be good with those binos, I'd look at maybe a bigger spotter. Elk will be everywhere in July pretty high. As hunts start and the fall gets closer they head to the thicker trees. You?ll see elk that's for sure. The weather in Scipio and Gunnison will be hotter as it's not up on the...

Like some have said before cool weather will help, quality may be down on the fish lake but should be a fun hunt. You can see a lot of country on fish lake just from the road.

LAST EDITED ON May-17-18 AT 08:23PM (MST)[p]That hunt can be so dang hot! 95 plus degrees everyday wears a guy out. Probably one of the hardest archery elk hunts around. Look for water. Watch out for snakes!!!
