My sister shot a nice buck back in West Virginia, 10pt. Shot on Saturday, dropped at taxi that evening. Monday it was done. I said no way, that is a fake skull. She shipped it out to my dad here in California, it's real. How can a guy do that in one day?

Take a look around Midas. Just go up top. Hunted many times. Roads get rough, so that deters some. Not a lot of deer, but when you see one, usually a big buck. Sheep up there two. One year we watched a guy get one. 10 years later, his wife drew a sheep tag. We found hers for her. Pretty cool.

Looking for a good trespass or semi guided hunt next year. Nevada, Utah, or Wyoming. My cousin and I want to take our dads on a good hunt before they get too old. We’ve hunted all of these states with decent success. Any recomendations are appreciated

Get sick after every shot. Already had Covid, that was a piece of cake. These shots are 10 times worse.

Cabelas had great service and their Outfitter boots were great. Over a 10 year period, I had the same boots replaced and no charge because the stiching came apart. I was rough on them though, wasn't even their fault. That won't happen anymore.

Put in for Utah again, license price went from $265 to $398. How is that? Non-res

Very nice. You should see the bucks we have here on the American River in Sacramento. Can’t shoot them, but cool to look at. Question for ya, I’ve got a 5x5 from Colorado as a standard wall mount. Can I change it to a pedastal mount like yours

When will they out

Well we have hunted Twin Peaks CWMU for years, until an outfitter took over and raised the price. Always did good and had fun. Now we go over there and hunt the public land and still do good. No monsters, but have a chance at some 23-25" 4x4's.

We saw two nice bulls right out of Grouse Creek while deer hunting last year. Both 6x6's. More elk than deer. Deer don't seem to like it when the elk are around.
