Drew a late season elk tag in WY (lucky me). Shot him twice in his bed and he never moved! He roughly scored 330 4/8, my biggest elk to date.

My dad and I just put in on the Montana alternates list for the Big game combo license. Has anyone tried this before and how successful were you in getting a tag? They established an order to get on the list and my dad is 93 and I'm 383 on the list. I guess I don't know if I should be excited...
