Unless I absolutely need rubber boots, I always use leather hiking boots. I have a pair of insulated for the winter and a normal pair for the early season.

SouthEast Kansas for whitetail from November 3rd - 13th

We didn't have any success this year. We have the past couple of years. I definitely recommend applying for Kansas tags sooner than later. With the large increase in hunters applying for Kansas tags to hunt public, it has become a little harder to get a tag every year.

We were in Southeast Kansas for the rut during November and it was hot with South winds blowing for the first 2 weeks of November. Not ideal... Little movement, i'm guessing it was all at night with the warm temps.
