How many years did it take to draw it? I've seen some big bucks taken out of x9c in past years posted on the internet. From google earth it looks like it would be a cool zone to hunt. It would be cool to backpack in from the nevada side.

That's an awesome buck and an awesome mount. I never thought of that, half way between a shoulder mount and a full body. Did you stop skinning at the knees when you packed it out?

I've read that burned areas produce better feed and bigger bucks, so hopefully thats the case here. This year was my second year putting in for G3.

That's ridiculous, the ?environmentalists? who want them restored live in the city and wouldn't have to deal with the numerous problems they'd cause for people who live and hunt in the areas they'd be released. They?re completely out of touch.

On the last picture it looks like he has a bald patch on his leg, maybe he was hit by a car, I've read about injuries affecting antler growth.
