Use David Mathews Outfitters, no doubt. I hunted second season 16D rifle with him and did well as did others in camp. If it's a decent unit I will go DIY if it's once in a lifetime I go with an outfitter. 16D second rifle is once in a lifetime.

It didn't. Baby was due 11/1 and wound up coming on 11/11. Stubborn like his old man. I tell my wife that I could have gone and been back with plenty of time for the birth. Plus, I have a family to feed. She doesn't see the humor in my comment the way I do.

A buddy of mine drew an antelope tag for South West Desert with 1 point. I'm going to go with him but neither of us have hunted or set foot on this unit. I'm curious if anyone knows some good places to start looking for antelope in this unit. Thanks in advance for your help.

So what do you think...should I burn my 7 points on A21 or keep chasing the Kern River hunt which currently takes, I believe, 10 points? Curious to know what others would do. Point creep seems to keep me away from the better hunts.

I meant Yosemite, but I'll take bucks coming in from anywhere!!! Don't want to burn my 7 points on a unit that takes 4 or 5 to draw but I don't know what else I'd put in for.

Has anyone hunted the A21 Anderson Flat archery hunt? I have the points to draw and I know it can produce nice bucks, but I believe it is hit and miss depending on the weather. More snow = more bucks coming in from Yellowstone is what I understand. Thanks, Matt

A few of us are going to hunt doe antelope in the Plateau unit, which is huge. I would appreciate any advice on where to hunt. I'm taking my nephew out for his first big game hunt and want to see him kill his first animal. Thanks in advance. Matt
