Yup..I'm about 15 miles south of Lake Erie. We are known for walleye/perch and exceptional steelhead fishing. Excellent whitetail hunting further south but there are areas by me where they kill a 180" deer every year. Surprisingly we are well know for our wine too.

Dad and I have been applying in NM as NR for the last 5 years and we finally drew deer tags unit 22 in November. The point game and amount of hunters in the West is getting old real quick so this is a nice surprise.

No joke. The boys at "The Draw" set us up with hail Mary units every year for New Mexico for deer and elk. We haven't drawn anything in 5 years. I took a look at OnX and I see why the quota is so low.....there isn't enough dumb SOBs that go climbing into that unit for an old stinky mountain buck...
