Ewe tags are all on random draw, no points.

A 50/50 split would result in 6 random NR sheep licenses for the 2024 hunting season. It would be a simple and easy fix to the system. No need to reinvent the wheel.

You can bet that Coursey has already perpetuated the myth of Nevada having the best draw system in the West to the members of the TRW. This guy is like a disease. I'll contact my senator who is on the committee, but won't hold out much hope.

It shows what a good outfitter does for sheep hunters by using everything available to have a successful hunt. Another thing it shows is how the outfitters will let each other know where they have recently seen rams. The main reason they hunted that area was another outstanding Wyo sheep...

16 years ago today I completed my slam with them in what used to be sheep area 23 in the Wind River Mtns. Top notch outfitter in every way.

Looks like they cut about 2,700 tags from 2022's numbers (1,950 doe/fawn tags and 750 tags from the NR Region A quota). They also shaved a few days off the season length, and made it antlered deer only for the Region A and resident general tags.
