2020 wasn't all bad

It's like anywhere, as it gets deeper into the rut some of those big boys show up out of the thick stuff, but definitely downhill from where it was. I hunted pretty hard for 4 days, live and work in the area and the buck I took was by far the biggest I saw. Not a bad deer, but definitely no monster.

Horses are out of control. I hunted 22 2nd for deer. Between the pressure and horses it was pretty rough.

Pretty sure I figured out why elk numbers are declining!

Maybe not the biggest bull, but the lighting makes it pretty neat!

We were just laughing about that same thing, been down scouting 61 quite a few time this summer, I'm hoping for a 320ish bull in 61, and the places we've been scouting are no different than the holes on our OTC units that a guy could go and have a chance at a 320 most every year. Just gotta go...

I drew a 61 archery tag, been down quite a few times. It is fairly dry right now, been getting a little rain this last week tho.
