    Headed to unit 32

What's the size on the antelope. Any pics? I used to hunt 32 about 10 years ago but quit to gain points in a better unit. Cashed in my points this year and looking for an easier to draw unit instead of waiting 10 more years.

    Pronghorn 40, 41, 42

I had that tag many years ago. Shot a small buck on the last day of a 14 day hunt. Although I saw antelope every day I never saw large herds. Mostly groups of 10 or less.In fact mostly singles and doubles. There has been some talk of the population being way down but I havnt been back to confirm it.

    Halibut Fishing

Might want to look at oregon also. They opened the season to 7 days a week instead of 3. This might make it easier to get an open seat. Newport is probably the best port for halibut charters. Depoe bay is good also.

    Owyhee Unit deer

Sorry I don't have first hand knowledge for owyhee but I do in bordering units. To say they are struggling is an understatement. I would say all mule deer units in oregon are poor. But the chances of them improving are slim to none. So burning them this year might be the way to go.

    Antelope 32 or 47?

I was told by a biologist that late season in 32 was not good. I hunted early season and that was 10 years ago so things could have changed. Might want to call biologist.

so I was planning on burning a bunch of points on one of these units this year. Will this poor outlook make for a tougher hunt or not worth it at all?

    ACE OUTFITTERS

I booked a fall bear tag a few years back. This was my first guided hunt so I have nothing to compare it to but my experience was great. I don't see any reason his whitetail hunts would be any different. I will ad that whitetail hunting in idaho is a blast!
