Question, what elk unit is Salina in?

Have 21 NR elk points and counting. 78 this years time is running out.

NR here. Started Applying in the 90s. 2 bulls and 2 cows for my efforts. 78 this fall. Been 5 years now since I last got in. Hope this time will make it.

Been 5 years since I last got an elk tag. Maybe this year.???

Hunting 76 first season this year with horses. Have hunted it 1before. This is my last go as non resident and will be 77 in October. Planning on hunting close to Bristol Head. Any info would appreciate about this years hunt.

I have hunted 2 times in 76. As a non resident first time was with just 3 points. Got a 6x6. Wife hunted one time also. So know the area . My hunting buddy go in 1st season this year and I is bringing horses. Never done that before. Will be a fun hunt for him.

Cost me 3 pts first time in. Horses help. Be 77 this October. Will never get to hunt again myself. Used my pts for 61 a few years back. Not in point chasing anymore.

Got a call from my hunting buddy this morning. Did not get drawn for unit 76 with 17 pts. Got call from Denver saying someone turned in 76 tag 1st season He was next in line. Guess I will not be hunting this year in an OTC unit. Will tag along to help pack out animal.

Glad I am almost 77 and will not see what will happen to the wildlife population. Got a few years left to hunt so will enjoy while I can.

Didn’t get drawn 1st draw so will just get an OTC tag this fall. Forgot about the kids 100%. That’s if gas is not 8 to 10 dollars. Thanks Brandon.

Think I answers my own question. June 17 last day to pay for 1st draw if u had problems with credit card. So next Monday we will see what is left.

I drew 2 years in row, now have gone 4 years with red tag. Hope this is my year

Had 61 tag 4 years back. Went out Monday before 1sr season . Saw hundreds of elk with many 300 plus. We were on foot so outfitter got to our gears first . Got a good one. We got ours 3 rd day 5x6 nice Bull not the hog but we we’re happy. Can do it yourself eazy. I was 72 then.
