I shoot a similar setup. Vertix @ 29.5in and 70# with a 525gr arrow. I can roll to 100 and after that flip the top vane down and that gets me clearance to shoot out to 125yrds. J

We did this one with my Fall bird for Thanksgiving. Just tweaked it by adding some green chile. Everyone loved it. J

Same here. We just wrapped up a quick 3 day. Plenty of birds but many didn't seem to want to play. Several Toms we found had hens with them. Will give it another go in a week or two. J

In my experience, Kuiu harness runs small. My 10×42s fit snug in the large. I've heard from others complain that their binos dont fit the large harness. I personally would order the XL for your 12x50s based on my experience with Kuiu. Hope this helps. J

+1 on Kuiu. You can attach the rangefinder pouch to the side. The harness doesn't have elastic so you get a really snug fit that doesn't bounce. Lightweight and slim profile if you happen to be a bow hunter. J

We will definitely be out on opening day granted it's still a go as others have stated. If they 86 spring turkey then I'm going to be pretty stir crazy until September. J
