Spotted him at over 1m, made a plan, stalked in, set up, nephew let out 3 calls, he came in on a string to 35yrds and the .325wsm did its job! Thanks to my dad, nephew and son for being there! Special thanks to nephew for being a freaking animal with the 1m pack out!

On my antelope hunt last year we saw quite a few deer and a few decent bucks on Jordan Meadow Mt. other then that we saw them in the Kings River valley in the ag fields. Hopefully that helps out a bit...

051E rifle elk, get to hunt the bugle season!

My dad shot a 15? lope in 2017 near Cherry Creek and Bishop canyon in southern 032. Best advice I can give is don't be afraid to hunt up high, we saw more lopes in the mountains then in the flats. Good luck and stay safe!

Hicks Mt north to Idaho in 061 and Miller creek off Copper Mt in 071 are the places I've seen the most elk in past hunts... seems like every ridge has a road up there, I wish you luck!
