It happens… it can go wrong with any weapon, but I bet guys that bow hunt have more stories like that than they would care to share. I’ve had 3 incidents that I can think of off of the top of my head. Lol

I like the collapsible Goal Zero crush solar lamps. They are small & lightweight. Really nice when you have an animal down after dark. I carry 2 in my pack at all times.

I personally have no intention in applying. Just like the wild turkey here in the state of NV, I think they should leave them alone for 10 years or so to allow them to flourish.

Not to sound like a Debbie downer, but 100+ moose in an area that is 17,203 square miles in size doesn’t in any way sound like one would be exactly “easy” to locate. It might be for the local folks in the area that have an idea where to look from previous sightings, but for someone like myself...

I have to agree with you… Besides, I’m aware that we have moose in the northern part of the state, but legitimately if I actually did draw a tag, what are my odds of even locating one?

I applied for 2 years with a friend from CA. Once I got serious about looking at the odds, I told him that we were both better off applying separately.

I’m originally from MS. I go back home 2 times per year for turkey & whitetail. I love hunting whitetail, but I just don’t have the necessary time to hunt them like I used to.

I agree totally. Turkey hunting is my passion, but pronghorn are by far my favorite western big game animal to hunt.

Definitely and the state has a ton of deer. The northern part of the state has had some CWD the past few years, but it isn’t substantial.

This was at 35 yards with the same ammo & choke.

I shot FRANK4TEN today & couldn’t be happier with the performance. Here’s a target at 25 yards With a .385 Indian Creek choke & 1 oz Foxtrot Legend straight 9.5’s TSS. I shot 2 other shells & 2 other chokes & this set up patterned best. I wouldn’t be hesitant at all to shoot out to 35 yards.

Any suggestions? What about the Berger Hunter line?

I think so. I’m undecided on the bullet that I want to use, but right now I’m considering the 95gr Nosler ballistic tip.
