I prefer archery, but am holding out for a type 1 tag in case the archery hunt isn’t successful! Yes I am an avid backpacking wilderness high alpine type of hunter!

I’m also trying to figure it out! I may buy points again this year and focus on my 17 Colorado elk points since they just reintroduced the wolves!

I’ve considering 24. I’ve heard there is quite a few roads on the unit! Is there a way to backpack in and get away from everything? What quality of bulls was you getting into?

Either way works for my hunting style! I’d prefer a wilderness hunt!
