021 mule deer archery - general opinion

Not looking for where to go but I’d like to hear any thoughts or opinions about this hunt. Good or bad.

I helped a good friend on that hunt last year. We hunted it hard and saw some bucks but nothing really big. Could of got a shot at a dinky three-point but the few mature deer were impossible to get within bow range of.
We ran into a lot of pressure. Most archery hunters had helpers and there were also a lot of guys scouting for the muzzleloader and rifle season.
The bucks will be in the usual places.
It’s a dang tough hunt but it’s not totally impossible. I think the success rate runs around 10%. Probably young bucks.
It is a fun time to be out hunting that time of year. Be careful when driving some of the smaller roads. It’s very easy to get stuck.
