10 year old ELs vs newer Swarovision?

Decided to make the leap but want to get a decent deal on a used pair. Looks like the difference is $400-500 between a pair from 10-12 years old vs never SV models

Are the newer ones worth the extra. I can afford the difference if they are worth it. I have looked through the new ones in the store and can't tell that much difference but have never seen them in low light. Difference in low light is my main criteria for deciding the purchase

The old are great and the newer are better. Find most people, if they can afford it, and are leaning toward Swaro, get the best they can and only regret it when the CC statement arrives, never after.
