LAST EDITED ON May-29-15 AT 11:08PM (MST)[p]I drew the any weapon buck tag with 2 points. I did not expect to draw even an archery antelope tag with only 2 points. It was my first choice. I only did it as my 1st choice because it is close to my family in southern Utah. Now I need to figure out where to hunt on that unit. The wife and 3 kids age four and under will be hunting it with me.

I have never killed an antelope so I am extremely excited for this hunt.

I drew that tag about 7 or 8 years ago. I saw very few goats. We hunted up Railroad Valley I think it was. We tent camped and it was very windy. There is an oil refinery out there that we hunted nearby. pm me for the info I have. I have heard there may be some better areas farther south. Congrats on the tag. Getting a goat tag anywhere is gonna be a fun hunt.

I've got maps if you want to borrow them.

Cancer doesn't discriminate...don't take your good health for granted because it can be gone in a heartbeat. Please go back and read the last line. This time really understand what it says.

LAST EDITED ON May-29-15 AT 10:21PM (MST)[p]Congrats Dillion, harvest a goat or not...quality time in the wood chasing them with family PRICELESS ?. Know pulling a tag this year for you hasn't gone so well til today. I struck out in Nev but put in for pie in the sky stuff so not surprised, however my brother drew a tremendous elk muzzy tag and I'm truely more happy about that than me getting one. Hopefully we can both draw that desired elk unit in Utah next year and chase a big one. Happy for you!!

There are quite a few pronghorn all along the east side as well, from Lund all the way down to southern end of the area. I would get there a week early, find a buck you like and tag him on opening day. The best bucks will fall in the first few hours, then there will be several small bucks from which to choose. It will be warm. Be prepared to get your pronghorn boned out and on ice ASAP.
