161 moose

I just got notified that I was the alternate for a 161 archery cow moose tag. I have already killed a bull so now I get to fill the freezer with some amazing meat. Any info on areas to find good concentrations of cows and good camp spots would be appreciated.

My son got the call that he was next in line for a cow moose in 41,42,411. Can't wait! Fingers crossed.

I might blow moose points on a cow hunt in the next few years. Don't really care to pay out the nose for 15 or more years. Hope you have success in yer hunt!

Camp at Big Creek Lakes, and drive around the lake to the South. There is a big basin with great moose habitat there.
