got my b zone buck 4x2 opening morning (rifle) 380 yards in the heart, never thought i would shoot that far in the siskiyou's. also filled my archery tag in x-1 on the 2nd day 2x2. Now that my meat bucks are taken, i will turn my attention to wyoming muleys, montana muleys & bulls then late season blacktail in oregon. good luck to all you guys

Congrats jv! I hunted my butt off this week-end and only saw two does and a fawn. I hiked a lot of good looking country too! I saw very little sign of deer at all. We had cool weather too! I'm confused, LOL!

that is hunting in california, it has been either feast or famin the last 25 years i have hunted there. good luck the rest of the season & remember it is not always the kill but the experiance & just being out there.

yes i do but no time to post, nothing impressive just small bucks. but i have some great pictures of last year i will post with this years bucks. leaving sept 28 to wyoming, can't wait.
