2004 AK moose

LAST EDITED ON Oct-29-04 AT 10:15AM (MST)[p]Here is the moose taken by one of the guys on my moose hunt last month. He worked his tail off for this monster, and it was cool to just be a part of it, even though I wasn't with him when he shot it. It measured 65" wide.

Your friend looks like he worked his tail off...all sweat...all smiles...was he still smiling while packing it out of the muskeg? Hopefully camp wasn't too far away.
Your friend must be a small guy...this moose looks larger than 65" to me. Generally folks stand back further than he is to make the critter like like a monster...he's right there with the rack.
