2010 Deer Hunt

My son drew a Southeast deer tag. I have never hunted in UT before and would appreciate any recommendations as to where I could take my 13 yr old for his first muley hunt. Please help!

South Jordan we would set like to set up camp won't be able to get to destinations until after football Sat. Any recommendations?

I'd go to the Blue Mountains near Monticello. It's a long drive, but you'll see deer.

 

[Gator]

Lasal Mountain next to Moab has alot of deer on it. Abajo(blues) has alot of deer on it too. Both areas you will see deer(tons of does). If you are looking for a big buck get into those high out of the way places, a small buck you can find them along the roads in both area's. Good Luck
