Well I am finally getting around to posting my Utah muzzleloader buck. I shot this buck opening day. It all happened really quick after a bit of a slow morning. Buck ran right past me and I shot him at 15 yards. I used my CVA Kodiak with 300 gr. Harvester Scorpion PT gold bullets and 90 gr. of BH 209.
Part of what caught my eye was his velvet and that triggered my urge to shoot him. He ended up being a decent buck and turns out he was a stag.
