Born and raised there, Have a ton of family that farm and ranch there have over 15,000 acres to hunt and adding more. I go back every Nov. we stay on family farms most are 3 and 4 bedrooms with kids have grown up and have there own places so the bedrooms are empty. lots of sloughes, tree belts, Crp, creek bottoms, fence lines, corn fields, soy beans,milo, etc
I have invited several guys to come each year got some who go back every year with us they are almost family now. LOL. We drive back(leave Fri 2 am Hunting on Sat 10 am) and take our own dogs. Usually 3 to a crewcab style truck one driving one riding shotgun and one in the back seat sleeping every 6 hours it a stop to fill up and let the dog out then it back on the road from my place here in Ca its 24 hr drive straight thru gives us another day to hunt. We stay a week.
