2020 RAC

So one person can email and call for an additional 9 days on the general archery and get it, but hundreds of people can email on no unlimited elk permits and get shot down. Tell me how the RAC speaks for the sportsman if Utah?

We aren't Montana, we aren't Colorado, we aren't Wyoming. We have too many people to be selling unlimited elk tags.

OUR UTAH RAC system is worthless I have e-mailed well over 100 people the only response I got back was a guy thinking I was yelling at him YOU HAVE TO YELL at the good for nothing system you have no choice and there is LITTLE TO NO BACK BONE on any of the racs!!!!

95% OF ALL RAC MEMBERS wouldn’t pull up a weed if it was growing in there living room!!!!! Most of them are there for their selves and not the sportsman it’s obvious!!!!

Southeastern RAC acknowledged my letter and information and worked at getting a solution going for the San Juan Elkridge unit, almost got the UDWR to commit to doing the Neonate study, changed the recommendation from 1000 to 2000. I was happy with what the SE RAC did, they put some thought into my letter and asked good questions.
I understand the frustration with the elk, they are trying to compromise, really never had the biggest chance at open bull elk hunting. Keep after it.

They might speak for the sportsmen of utah, but which sportsmen is it they speak for? Here’s a hint. It’s not the dudes hunting public land and applying for general tags every year. Those guys don’t count cuz they don’t have the bank account!
