22 Youth Deer Hunt

My son has his heart set on a coues buck. Any thoughts on burn area vs non burn area. First time in AZ and we'll be there a couple days early to scout. Trying to figure out a good area to set up base. Thanks for any advice!

Saw some muley bucks in it this week. Problem is they might not have it open, its closed now, no idea when they are gunna open it. You might be able to walk from the highway. I can give you some spots we have seen Coues in the past if you need.
