Drew deer tag as a alternate, hunt ends 10/31. Spent time in the north egan range, then the east side of Mt Grafton. Then looked at the south end of the egan range near shingle pass. Planning on hunting last week of season. Any ideas and thoughts are welcome in PM. Thanks Russ. I can provide help with No Ut So Id Western Wy G H and units 41 n 43 CO.

My son and I have the same tag. We just spent a few days scouting the area last week. We started at Peterson pass and scouted the area south to mule shoe with no deer or sign. We then moved north to shingle pass and still no deer sign. We did find elk in both areas. The shingle pass area does look promising but does have several private lands in the area. We will be hunting the whole season so if we get back early I can send you some info on what we had seen. Looks like most deer migrate into the area with the colder weather. We did find tracks all around but not much at all. At least for now.

Didn't hunt in these units, but very very close by. Super rough hunt, I didn't see a mature deer.

Brother hunted last 6 days and struggled. Best buck was a 4x3.

No such luck on a good shooter buck. We focused mainly on some of the older burns and glassed several large groups of does but the big bucks were just too smart for us.
