What are you all reloading I loaded Barnes 34 grain with 25.9 grains of h335 and nosler 60 grain with 23 grains of h335. I have so many options with powder but figured I’d try to burn up the 335.

I really like H335. It shoot very well in all my AR's (that I used to have).
I've tried H322, IMR4198 and CFE223 but H335 is the best for me.

My favorites are Win 748 and Hodgdon BL-C2. I have a slow 1 in 14 twist
barrel and shoot bullets from 50 to 55 grains.

I thought loading 223's with fat fingers and and small necks was a pain until I tried 204's......

I've heard CFE223 is the best schizle in the worls but it's impossible to find right now.
I've used and stayed with H335 also. It works great for 55's and 60's cup and core in my AR and bolt Sako and Howa mini rifles.
It's shocking how the 60 V-max will ring steel at 600 yards shot after shot.

I was an H335 believer before trying CFE 223. Now I shoot it exclusively behind Varmageddons in 2 bolt and 3 semi-auto guns. ---SS

Varget, win748, tac, H335 pushing 40gr vmax, 40gr grenades. 50gr vmax, 55 gr fmj & vmax, 65 gr gamekings. Pretty much whatever I find I make work. Dammed if I'm ever gonna be "that guy" that doesn't have loaded ammo to burn through.

28.5 gr 748 with a 40 varmint grenade. Seated dam near all the way out. Have to single feed or bullet pops out in the mag from the recoil.

IMR 4320 and 50g Vmax have been doing well in my bolt gun. Ordered 8lbs of Tac the other day and will start using it once it shows up.

Homer I just picked up a 204 and am trying to stock up to reload. What powder are you using ?
I'm not Homer but shockingly we usually agree on things....
I would give XBR 8208 a whirl if you can find it. I shoot a 20 Practical (damn near the same as a 204) and that's what I settled on after trying 4198, 322, benchmark also.
They'll all work well enough if your rig like the combination.

I always liked Benchmark with lighter bullets (53gr Vmax was my preferred). Now it’s wearing a 7 twist 223ai barrel, and likes Varget and 80VLDs. When I burn the throat back a ways, I’ll clean it up with a throating reamer and go to the heavies. Those 80’s at 2925 are great cheap steel plinkers though.
Found a few of the 53s in a box and got curious. Accuracy sucked with the 7twist, but they were screaming for a 223..3650ish if I recall?
