Looking to find the "sweet spot" on a Winchster model 70 with the BOSS system, for Hornady 165 gr. All Winchester lists are the settings for 180 and 200 gr. I thought it would be the same settings as the Browning A-Bolt, but I noticed the settings were different between guns for the same loads. Anyone had some experience or know where to get that info? I'd rather not shoot 5 boxes to figure it out. Thanks

i had the same problem with mine. what i did was figure the difference between the setting for 180 and 200 and adjusted it that much from the 180 setting and started there. i never noticed a whole lot of difference in accuracy. but i don't shoot real well anymore. dang i've gotten shakey. they sure help in recoil tho. sure are noisy. make sure to cinch the hell out of it when you decide where you want it. they will shoot loose.
