.308 load info

On the varmit forum I noticed a post about the .308 being used for coyotes. I have an old winchester .308 that I have been wanting to start reloading for coyotes. What I'm curious about is what is the lightest bullet I can shoot and still be accurate to around 300 yards? This rifle would only be used for coyotes. Thanks for any info.

Or you could use the 155-gr. Palma match by Sierra at ~2900 fps with a load of RL-15, deadly accurate and safe pressures, but I can't attest as to what it would do on a yote out yonder as I've only used it for competition shooting.
