3rd season tactics

With opening day drawing near, I haven't narrowed between 4 spots which will be my first line of attack.

I understand that individual years may bring different factors to the table. Heck, certain units may even determine what tactics are used. But if you were to give a blanketing statement on your tactical approach to hunting deer in 3rd season CO, what would it be?

Start high (aspen) before low (sage)? Cover lots of ground? Glass, glass, glass? Etc.

You are using the wrong words.
Strategy is a plan of action.
Tactics is what action you use to accomplish your strategy.

Unit we hunted was plagued with deer down low on private, working around boundaries trying to ambush a big boy was ultimately unsuccessful.

We found does and monitored them for three days but rut didn’t seem to start until 11/11 where we were. Did find some solitary bucks before then.
Didn’t drink enough beer, can say that definitively.
