I drew 4 deer tags this year. And not one in my home state of Utah.
This guy finished off a lot of hunting this year.

Last day buck. He was the best I saw and I almost didn’t kill him. Thought he had a crab claw. But he’s broke on his 4 and MB. Tough hunt. Was steeper than I thought it would be Roads I thought would be open were all closed. So tough to get around. Got snow first day. Saw lots of does and small bucks. By the afternoon it was 45 degrees. Thursday-Saturday 62, 59 and 64. Lots of does with no bucks. Every buck we saw had does. Was fun but rough. Colorado is nuts. To many suburus and hikers campers and people smoking weed everywhere ?

Overall was an awesome year! I am tired and my wife is glad I am done. Seems like I was gone every other week. I helped on a few hunts as well, and even guided one elk hunt.
As I have said before, after my accident I thought I would never hunt again. But, you just do or give up and die. Very thankful for friends that helped me. I can’t skin anything! Man that’s the most frustrating.
You guys know who you are and I cannot ever repay you. You have made my life so much better by helping me. You have no idea.
