Anyone use 40 mile air for moose? how was your experience with them? I've been looking to use a transporter for a moose hunt in my future.

I'm going moose hunting this year. I researched a bunch and couldn't find anything bad on 40 mile air. I'm not going with them this year but will consider in the future. Hopefully someone that has used them can chime in.

One of the best in the state. Good guys and very safe. The only complaints you'll hear are from guys that expect pilots to risk their lives for the convenience of an early pickup or someone who isn't prepared for the weather/trip. Wind plays a big roll on where and when you can get dropped off and picked up as well.

Note that they book repeat customers before new bookings. Moose hunts can be difficult to get for a first hunt, and then you may not end up with what you want to be, i.e. a lake vs ridge top. They usually always have caribou slots open.
