41,42, 421 Deer Tag Numbers

Looking at GoHunt and the CPW statistics, there was a huge decrease in 3rd season tag numbers in 2020 for these units.

Anyone have any insight as to why CPW did this and what the tag numbers will look like in 2021? I don’t have any points so I’m trying to get an idea of what my odds will be for 3rd vs 2nd season.

Probably because there are very few deer here now. I noticed that CPW has decided it’s ok to have some B list doe tags in 41, sheesh.

There are no deer in those units, trust me, I wouldn’t waste the money to hunt in those units.

I’ll speak just about 41 since I live and hunt in it. The deer numbers are way down and having B list doe tags is insanity.

There are about 10 bazillion deer in 3 and 301...not sure that you'd see a trophy.
