Just purchased a landowner voucher for unit 52 in CO. The property is over near Cedaredge. It's not a lot of ground, and the landowner said that some of the better bucks hang on the surrounding public ground. Not going to have too much time to go over and check out the country before the hunt starts. I realize that the 2nd season tag is probably not the most ideal, and I should probably pray for some early weather.
Anyway, just wondering if the other 2 units (411 and 521) are worth checking out at all. Does this area get bombarded with hunters?? I'm not a fan of roads or motorized vehicles, and always look for those out of the way spots where people tend not to go. Anyone familiar with this area at all?
