6.5 cm brass won’t trim

Using Lapua brass and a lee case length gauge. I am guessing lee made it for a large primer flash hole. Has anyone sanded down the tip to fit the flash hole? If it’s ok I am wondering why Lee didn’t do it to begin with.

Don’t see why you couldn’t turn it down to fit the small rifle primer hole. It’s just a trim length gauge. I normally don’t trim to book anyway.
