80/81 Muzzle

Picked up a muzzleloader tag for this unit. I have hunted it last year later in the year. Are most of the deer going to be high for this hunt? Everything I am reading they'll be above tree line, is this accurate? What range should I concentrate on? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Up, up, up… is always the right first place to start, then work your way down in elevation. Focus on where the timber get’s sparse and ends at the tree line. There will likely be bucks in that band.
