A couple of unit 61 bulls

The bottom two bulls were taken in 61 during the 1st season. I did the skull mounts for a couple of customers and was told they were taken on public land accessed through private. Just thought some of you might like to see. Sorry for the sideways photo. not sure how to fix.

Nice looking mounts! I used to hunt out of Montrose for about 10 years. I'm curious to whether you used beatles or boiled them. I boiled my last bull elk skull, and although it looks great, you can see the cartilage didn't hold well, and the bone is much more fragile/brittle then when I first started. Thanks!
