I will give up most of my season this year to guide a friend from down south on his first archery elk hunt. We will be hunting the prime rut which in my area is traditionally the last 2 weeks of September, peaking around Sept 20 ish. I will locate, get us into position, and call a bull past him for a shot HOPEFULLY! Good luck everyone! Most of all, happy hunting and getting out there to enjoy what we love. T_M
