A Little Side Distraction...

Now that turkey season is winding down, the slabs will be full spawn this week and the next up here.

These are a few I caught last Friday.

Still waiting for them to show up here. Getting a real rankering for some crappie fillets! Yummy!!

We caught a few walleye and bass last week, including one at 27", but overall it was a slow bite. Should pick up soon but I'm ready for the wind to die down! Used to get a few crappie in the mix, but not lately.

Been to busy to get out, but, with these winds not like it matters. Hopefully get out in next week or so. Crappie and walleye are some good eating.
