America

This woman should run for president.

Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This is one ticked off lady.

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a

field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia .

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves

up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe

in your heart of hearts: I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care !!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:

"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem." -- Ronald Reagan

I have another quote that I would like to add AND.......I hope you forward all this.

"If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." Also by.. Ronald Reagan

One last thought for the

day:

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said: "A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out."

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET BOTH OF THEM.
AMEN

RE: America

Tony Blair didn't say that. Also many people believe that the goal of the Muslims is One Nation Under God, they refer to him as Allah. Be Careful of what you wish for I sure don't want to live in a Theocracy. I'm not against religion just mixing it with government.

RE: America

This country is nowhere near being a Theocracy. And to compare radical muslims to Christians is a serious stretch.

Just what in the H do you think this country was founded on!!!! God is written all over our government.

RE: America

There's some truth to that, but we got smart and decided there should be a separation of church and state. freedom of religion means freedom from religion also, don't forget that.

how can any of us really know what our founding fathers meant by that, it has been misrepresented the last 20 years...

RE: America

Nowhere in the Constitution does it say, "freedom FROM religion". It doesn't appear in the Bill of Rights either. Another one of those liberal myths.

RE: America

So freedom of religion doesn't mean the freedom to NOT have a religion? then shouldn't that mean the freedom NOT to have others religion used to govern your life? there's no way to have freedom of religion and religion in government unless all the people are of the same religion and choose to live by it, therefore mixing church and state would be unconstitutional. sometimes I think the biggest difference between the radical right Christian extremist and Islamic extremist is the guts to die for their insane self righteous beliefs.

Calm down Rossie, you are losing it. Yes we all here on this board know your disdane for God and religion OK. Next you will be telling us the twin towers were brought down by George Bush. You are losing it Dude/Rossie

RE: America

huntingrosie, calm down and get a grip. I am not advocating religion 'taking over the government', but merely pointing out how once again you are overstating things. Comparing me and my fellow christians to terrorists who target innocent women and children and take the easy way out(suicide) is pathetic, even for you. I have the courage to die for my beliefs, I just don't have the insane desire to FORCE my beliefs on others, that is the major difference between christians and radical muslims.

As for religion not having a role in government policies, I support it wholeheartedly. Our constitution was founded on judeo-christian beliefs, and there has never been a better political document written in the history of man. I will fight to keep America a religious country, I have no desire to see America turn into the sess-pool Europe has become as they have turned their back on God.

My loyalties are; God, family, country , in that order. I make no appologies for these VALUES.

Back on topic, I hear from the left, isn't it better to be safe than sorry? I say HELL NO!!! It is better to know what the hell we are doing, and what the REAL effects of what we are doing are. How do we know what will happen if we actually succeed in 'cooling' the earth? Will it then push us to an Ice Age, which is far more dire for mankind than 'global warming'?

RE: America

We've beat the pushy religious people thing to death and it gets boring so I agree back to the subject. one comment though, while these suicide bombers are insane idiots I don't think it's fair to say they're cowards taking the easy way out. strap a bomb on you and I'll bet you shake like a dog crapping peach seeds, crazy yes, cowardly no.

The point on global warming is nobody here has a clue what the truth is, I don't care if you listen to Rush or Gore , or even have a RONCO home science kit we're all shooting from the hip. this will sort itself out and then we can act on it or forget about it, until then anyone with a strong opinion either way just shows their ignorance.

Dadgum Dude you said something I can agree with. The problem is the ones with the strong opinion that "The debate is over" are acting now in a way which will have a negative impact on our lives, and for no good reason, except for them to simply gain political power and get rich and make more inroads with their scocialist agenda. Now can you agree with that?

RE: America

I'd agree with that IF we were forced to make the changes the global warming crowd says we should. for now you have an option, if someone wants to live green they can if they want to drive a V10 they can so I'm not going to cry until I'm hurt. if it turns out they're right then I'm afraid we'll all be changing our ways, I'm no more exited about that than you are.

RE: America

Well I'll be go to hades that makes two things we agree on now. WOW. There's hope for us yet?
If you can not remember the first thing we agreed on I will refresh your memory. It was Nuke Power plants. We need more of them. That was like two years ago we hashed that one out. I had a different handle at the time. SoTX

RE: America

I agree, nuclear power would bring the price of oil down and do more to help global warming ( if it's man caused ) than anything else we could do. we have the tech to build safe nuke plants now and we know we're going to have to it in the future anyway, may as well get the program underway.

RE: America

I could not agree more. Also would put a stop to coal mining if we could replace all the coal plants with nukes. I read where the French are recycling their spent rods from nuke plants now.

I am still waiting for my Nukestroke F350 :)

RE: America

I find it ironic how most 'greens' oppose nuclear power. Europe is right on this one, they get most of their power from nuclear power plants, which is more effecient, saves on oil consumption, and is cleaner. Yet here in good ol America, the 'greens' have prevented all nuclear power plants being fired up.

I wish I could go nuclear!
